Review of reconstruction progress in the village of Ashaghi Oratagh
On January 13, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev reviewed reconstruction and development works undertaken in Ashaghi Oratagh village, Aghdara district.
There are a total of 308 private houses in the village. Of these, 148 are unfit for use, while 160 are partially usable. At present, 100 houses are ready for occupancy following restoration. Over the course of the year, an additional 60 houses will undergo major repairs and restoration. Initially, 31 families (119 people) have returned to the village.
A number of projects related to social infrastructure have been implemented in Ashaghi Oratagh village. Specifically, two transformers and the gas pipeline have been restored, new electricity, gas, and communication lines have been installed, a water pump has been put into operation, water reservoirs with a total capacity of 560 cubic meters have been cleaned, and a sub-artesian well has been repaired. Nearly 7 kilometers of internal village roads have been restored. A park and a football pitch have been created for residents’ recreation.
As part of the visit, the Head of State visited the family of Anar Rustamov, who has resettled in the village, and familiarized himself with the conditions in their newly restored house.
