Opening ceremony of the Business and Economics Faculty building of Garabakh University

On December 23, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening ceremony of the newly constructed Business and Economics Faculty building of Garabakh University in the city of Khankendi.

Business and Economics Faculty of Karabakh University is one of the main structural units that is consistently developing toward the formation of a modern academic environment. The faculty currently employs 20 academic staff, administrative and technical personnel. A total of 505 students study at the undergraduate level in seven specialties: economics, finance, accounting, management, public administration, international trade and logistics, and tourism management.

The academic building includes 40 classrooms, computer laboratories, a library, reading and assembly halls, as well as meeting rooms, administrative offices, and faculty rooms. Designed and constructed in line with the modern university concept, the building’s planning and construction took into account the principles of sustainable development, inclusivity, and efficient use of resources.
