Presentation of keys to the residents of Mammadbeyli and Aghali villages

On October 28, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with residents of the Mammadbeyli and Aghali villages of Zangilan district.

During the meeting, the Head of State noted that the implementation of the Great Return program began in Zangilan district and that Aghali village was the first residential settlement where normal life was restored. President Ilham Aliyev recalled that the residents had lived for many years under difficult conditions as internally displaced persons and stated that their return to their native lands is a tangible result of the large-scale reconstruction policy carried out by the Azerbaijani state.

Following the meeting, the keys of the apartments were presented to the residents, and commemorative photographs were taken.
