President Ilham Aliyev received Director-General of ICESCO

On September 15, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev received the Director-General of ICESCO, Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik, in Shusha.

During the meeting, the ICESCO Director-General’s visits to Azerbaijan and Shusha were recalled, and the large-scale reconstruction and development works carried out in the liberated territories were highly praised. President Ilham Aliyev presented the “Dostluq” (Friendship) Order to Salim bin Mohammed AlMalik in recognition of his support for the promotion of culture.

The ICESCO Director-General expressed his gratitude, noting that this award was not only a personal honor but also an acknowledgment of the dedicated efforts of his colleagues. The meeting reaffirmed confidence that the successful cooperation between Azerbaijan and ICESCO will continue to expand in the future.
