Meeting with residents of Vangli and Kolatagh villages

On August 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev and First Lady Mehriban Aliyeva reviewed the progress of restoration of private houses and infrastructure in the village of Vangli in Aghdara district where they visited the home of village resident Vakil Mamedov.

The Head of State and the First Lady met with and spoke to residents of Vangli and Kolatagh villages.

Vangli village, situated on the banks of the Khachin River, is part of the eponymous administrative-territorial unit of the Aghdara district. Currently work is ongoing to establish modern social infrastructure in the village. Four transformers and three kilometers of the existing electricity line have been repaired, and an additional 1.5 kilometers of electricity lines are currently being installed.

Sixty houses in the village have been supplied with water, and the provision of potable water is expected to be fully completed by the end of September. The existing gas pipeline has been restored, and an additional 3,500 linear meters are planned for repair. Furthermore, a new gas pipeline has been installed, and an additional new section is planned.

To ensure residents’ well-being and recreational needs, a park has been established in the village. The park includes a flag square, sports and children’s playgrounds, a recreational zone, and green spaces, providing a fully equipped environment.
