Groundbreaking ceremony for the third residential complex in Kalbajar city

On August 21, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev laid the foundation stone of the third residential complex in the city of Kalbajar.

The total area of the residential complex will cover 7.6 hectares, comprising 29 buildings with four and five storeys. The construction of 476 apartments is planned within the complex, including 8 one-room, 176 two-room, 169 three-room, and 123 four-room units.

To ensure the comfort of the resettled families and address their everyday needs, the complex will be equipped with all necessary infrastructure. This will include household and commercial facilities, a football field, recreational spaces, gazebos, children’s playgrounds, bicycle paths, and an above-ground parking lot. The buildings will be provided with permanent water and electricity supply as well as high-speed internet access. Comprehensive landscaping and greening works are also envisaged across the area.
