Meeting with the President of Türkiye in Khankendi

On July 4, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev met with President of the Republic of Türkiye Recep Tayyip Erdoğan in Khankendi.

President of Türkiye Erdoğan praised the high-level organization of the 17th Summit of the Economic Cooperation Organization. President Ilham Aliyev expressed his gratitude to Recep Tayyip Erdogan for participating in the Summit. During the meeting, the Azerbaijani–Turkish brotherhood and strategic alliance were reaffirmed. Turkish President emphasized that Türkiye stands firmly with Azerbaijan and that this position will remain steadfast. President Ilham Aliyev also stated that Azerbaijan has always stood by Türkiye.

Future prospects for bilateral cooperation and issues of mutual interest between the two countries were also discussed during the meeting.
