Inauguration of the Khankendi Congress Center  

On July 3, President of the Republic of Azerbaijan Ilham Aliyev attended the opening of the Khankendi Congress Center.

Equipped with modern technical facilities, the center covers an area of 6,500 square meters. It features event halls accommodating 600 people in a theater-style setup and 350 people in a banquet-style setup, as well as meeting rooms, conference halls, and various other multifunctional spaces. Combining modern design with national architectural traditions, the building offers extensive opportunities for hosting congresses, conferences, seminars, business meetings, and other events of national and international importance.

At the initial stage of its operation, the Congress Center has provided permanent employment for 12 people, eight of whom are residents of Khankendi, Khojaly, Kalbajar, and other liberated territories.
